You can get paid by anyone who wants to pay you. The reason this is allowed is because the people paying these payers are doing so because it’s an investment. The same people paying these players profit when LSU is successful. It’s essentially like buying commercial time on a popular radio or tv show. A business has every right to do that and an individual has every right to be paid for that reason.
Yeah, it’s kind of put under a sham name in this case but that’s essentially what this is. These players are a “commercial” to the investors paying them.
