Not to derail your gun, but I would look at 6.8 western if you want heavy for caliber and a good gun selection.
Browning has plenty of options at your price point. I"d go Pro hunter LR for 1100 and put a Leupold on top in your budget.

7PRC is pimped by the hornady marketing machine and will have much better staying power than 6.8 western IMO.
Winchester just doesn't have the market clout to compete with Hornady. I think all the PRC stuff is here to stay. From what I can tell, 6.8w is practically dead already.
