Then why is the stock market rebounding so well over the past year?
Don't want to hear that it's just on paper. If the future looks bleak, typically the market drops. I'm not gonna complain, since my 401k has finally rebounded from '21-'22 losses.

The stock market is not a direct correlation to the economy. You do realize that, right?

Stock market returns do not correlate to the economy. Go look at 2020 stock market returns when the economy was shut down
