Also something to keep in mind- the A's lease with the City of Oakland at the Coliseum ends this year. There is no firm plan yet for a new stadium in Las Vegas, with current estimates seeing a completion around 2028. The A's will need a place to play home games while they wait for the new stadium to be built. The City of Oakland has really no incentive to work with the A's owner to extend a lease while waiting for the the Las Vegas stadium to be completed.
Also, if the A's don't play in the SF Bay area they'll most likely need to renegotiate their broadcast rights with RSN. All the options to host the A's for the potential three years are outside of the Bay area.
