I just read this story and immediately wondered what the frick kind of mayor would say some bullshite like this?
The A's owner, John Fisher, should launch a full on assault on her. If I was a Vegas resident, I'd have to wonder what's wrong with my mayor.

I have not heard of anyone wanting this team in town.
No paperwork has been signed, by anyone for this move.
Casino needed another "reason" other than, "we want to blow up old casino and build new". The "gift" of 9 acres...yes NINE acres, to build a stadium....
... whole lot of vegas shenanigans are going on.
