The video I've seen where they see him for the first time after is wild. He seems to have no remorse. And the parents are freaked out, but still not nearly to the level I'd be if my son did something like that. I think the mom even texted the dad when they found out the school was on lockdown and immediately said something along the lines of "he did it, he's the shooter".
I'll take my son shooting. I actually want him to learn just how dangerous it is. It is useful and fun, but it's the most serious thing you can handle. But he's not going to have accses to the guns himself and certainly would not continue or allow access if there is a remote possibility he'd be capable of something like this. I can understand that a parent doesn't always know... but, it appears they kind of knew.

Then, her and her husband went on the run for a couple days, resulting in a manhunt.
