Again, you’re perfectly in your right to hold that opinion and think it’s literally the second coming of Jesus. And If you truly think that I mean this in all honesty I couldn’t be happier for you. But, you can’t pass that off as fact like it’s accepted by the masses as such because it’s very flatly not true. It’s been thoroughly rejected as a Bethesda game as pretty much memed to death as the meaning of a mid AAA game. You can love it. Im truly not being sarcastic when I say I’m happy you do. But you must understand it’s seen by the gaming audience at large as a repudiation on Bethesda for their engine, static game design for like 20 years, laziness, terrible writing; and more.

None of this is accurate. Game still had 50k concurrent users on Steam two months after release and was one of the most-played single player games on Steam in 2023. Mediocre games don't put up those sort of numbers, especially when they release on Game Pass at launch. People paid to buy this game on Steam and then made it one of the most successful Steam games of the year.
