Seems a little hard to believe a cup would evaporate but I’ll take your word for it.

After 60 years and it’s not corked, it’s screw capped. I can easily see it. It’s never been opened, the tax strip is unbroken.

It’s called the devils cut.

Alcohol naturally evaporates over time. A bottle of alcohol that is several decades old would surely evaporate.
