Married people really doing this?
Yep. My wife and I don't sleep in the same bed unless on vacation or visiting a friend's house for an extended visit and sleeping over.
Believe it or not, she's the one who snores, kicks during the night and loves her half of the bed right down the middle.
When she and I did sleep in the same bed, I never got good rest with being wakened several times a night from the above activity.
That and the fact she goes to bed no later than 9:30 most nights and I usually don't get to sleep before midnight, so it makes sense for us to sleep separately.
