I mean you are essentially rooting for something like “the match”. That proved to not be very exciting and not many have watched

No, I’m advocating for a stacked leaderboard in a tournament. 54 competitors is enough for me. If I see DJ, Rahm, and Koepka at the top of a leaderboard, that’s interesting to me. I don’t first look to see if the field has 54 or 120 players (~60 by the weekend).
