That’s something the PGA tour struggles with - is big head-to-head matchups. The world so badly wanted to see Tiger v. Phil go down to the wire in tournaments but it almost never happened.

So it would have been better if the Tour diluted the hell out of its field and product in order to have tiger vs Phil at the top together more often?

Right because they want the guys with the lowest scores to compete down the stretch, not artificially manufacture matchups
