Wow, this is something to gloat about. What a wonderful human being you are. Yeah, let's laugh at the people that thought they built a safe community. Ha ha! Now me and my fellow Democrat voters are going to destroy your place too! Ha ha ha ha.

1. I’m no democrat

2. I’m partially trolling. My brother and his family live on the Northshore, and a strong mandeville / Covington is good for the area and state.

3. Nobody will be able to outrun this eventually I guess is my overall point. The country as a whole has a moral and behavioral issue.

This is spot on. Suburbs everywhere are seeing it explode and even growing in rural areas. and HUD is to blame and the LBJ effect.

This is 100% true, and i dont understand why it seems like most people are too blind to see it …. It’s a tale as old as time.. i am old enough to remember, as a very little kid in the late 1970s/early 1980s- riding near places like the Desire projects and the Magnolia projects, and being told to lock my doors- but that places like Metairie and Kenner were safe.. not untrue back then obviously.. then it morphed into ‘the Southshore is dangerous’ but the Northshore is a utopia.. eventually it’ll be - “Ya gotta keep going north to Folsom or Bush, La- that’s where it’s safe”…. I dont have all the answers, far from it- but to keep tucking ur tail and running further and further away just seems to me like a lazy solution .
