I see your point but am still in the camp that you keep both and continue to build. Some folks here are so irrational and assume that you can't keep both. You play the season out, hopefully with some strategic upgrades and see where your playoff run goes. If you are progressing, you pay the tax. If you fall flat you make off-season moves.

It's comical that some folks complain about having a winner in NOLA and when they actually start building something, all of a sudden the excuses come out ... Don't want Mrs. B to pay tax money, when we all know what the real reason is
By all accounts, the team gets along well and pulls for one another ... if only some of these so-called fans of the team could do the same.

What have we built though?

It's year 5, our 2 dudes are mostly healthy, and we're in a battle to try to avoid the play in.

Now couple that with the money crunch coming, and it's hard to make an argument to pay BI.
