Fentanyl is cheaper to manufacture than cocaine. Dealers will add a little fentanyl to their supply of cocaine to increase their profit margins. However, the risk is that the dealer will kill his customer if they spike the cocaine with too much fentanyl. Drug cartel math.

How does that increase their profit margins? A pinch of fentanyl does nothing to increase the volume of a cocaine stash. You need to sell more product to increase your profits, not less.

Again, nobody is using fentanyl to stretch their cocaine stash because fentanyl is currently cheaper than coke. There’s tons of way to water down coke and adding another drug is not one of them
