I’ve done the sleep study and the dr said no cpap.
They make their living selling cpap. You are not telling us something. Why did the doctor say no cpap?

If the sleep study didn’t record frequent apneas then a cpap machine wouldn’t do anything.

I saw something about a major manufacturer having to recall their product just the other day
Maybe that has something to do with it

I had a buddy who just missed the numbers for a cpap. If you have fewer occurances than their threshold, you don't get prescribed one I guess.
When I had my sleep study done, it was during Covid and there was a big shortage of cpaps.
I had 281 apnea events. Apnea index of 33.1/hr. I have bad sinus issues.
My doctor moved me to the top of the list for the machine. Got mine in about 2 weeks.
