It's possible to imagine that scenario, but the level of undrilled gas is truly epic (I would say as opposed to oil). And in times like these ("low prices") the tech always seems to grind better and better. I'm routinely agape at what's possible now that wasn't just 3-4 years ago. Long story short, I don't really expect gas production to be materially shut in.

In any event, this "freeze" is pretty far in the future. If Trump wins (or even if Biden stays) this could all be quickly reversed.
