I’m an amateur coffee guy who just started drinking it in my adults years. I’ve done Keurig and Nespresso pods in the past.

What do y’all recommend for a drip machine?

Anything SCA Certified is solid. Depends on budget though. Get a decent burr grinder and buy whole bean.

I have a Braun Multiserve which is nice because you can brew as little as one cup (directly into a cup) or a full pot. Used to have an OXO which was great as well.

I recently bought an OXO burr grinder and OXO 8 cup drip machine. Very basic drip machine but rated pretty highly for the price. The grinder is about as inexpensive as you can get for decent quality from the research I did.

I'm pleased with both. I've never really made anything but average or below average coffee at home and this combo is definitely a step up.

It’s expensive for a drip maker but it is the best I have ever owned. Have two actually. Techni Vorm Moccamaster.
