Looking at a tear down on YouTube, the Legato looks pretty sturdy internally. I was expecting a lot of plastic.
Honestly, if I was single I'd spend 3K+ but screw that with the wife. Just spent 4K on a Fridge so she'll bitch that we didn't get the subzero fridge
I'm gonna make a decision soon as I miss my morning drink. A French Press just doesn't hit as hard.

Yeah I’ve watched some teardown videos and they all say it’s built far better than expected.
Whatever you get, make sure you get a good grinder to pair with it if you don’t have one already. Most important piece of the espresso puzzle.
