Then I think Whitehouse would serve you better. It's closer to Tyler than Longview and right next to Lake Tyler.

Honestly they aren’t all that different.
If you have kids, then make a decision on the better school board district. If you decide to be around Longview then I’d choose the Sabine school district if I were you (if public school is the only option)

Well in that case Longview is better yes. Just keep your kids busy or they might end up being meth heads
