Then the question is, which Pink Floyd? They've been so many different bands. Syd Barrett's Piper at the Gates of Dawn was completely different from David Gilmore's PF without Waters. At first listen I'm sure one would be surprised to find out that both were the same band.

I don't want to speak for OP but I imagine anytime someone talks about PF they're talking about the main iteration from 1968 (beginning of gilmour) up through 1983 (last with roger).
