How many conspiracy theories have to be proven correct in order for people to start believing any idiot nonsense that someone can make up without any common sense or rational thought applied to the feasibility of it at all? 'Cause that's where we are at this point.

Scroll up up a bit, I listed a bunch. Everything is "idiot nonsense" ...until it isnt

Actually none of those that you listed are idiot nonsense. The vast majority of them are quite plausible even before they were validated.

Idiot nonsense is stuff like the Deep State is importing illegal immigrants in order to enlist in the military to fight against and subdue American citizens. Not only is it idiot nonsense, it's just a re-telling of the same suburban legend idiot nonsense that used to circulate via email back in 2009 under Obama. People are so dumb these days they don't even remember that...or they don't care.

Idiot nonsense is believing that the government can create/control the weather, which several posters here proved they buy into during the recent Iowa caucus.

Similarly, several posters here recently revealed that they think the moon landings were faked. And I have seen enough hinting comments to be willing to bet you a hundo that some significant number of posters here believe in some version of the Zionist World Illuminati.

I'll also guarantee you that some significant percentage of people here believe some version of the theory that mass shooting victims are crisis actors and/or the events are false flags. Probably some version of chemtrails too.

Nothing you posted is anywhere near as farfetched as any of those.

The problem is that people who aren't very logical have used the following syllogism:

1. It has been proven that the government and the media have covered up and/or lied about some things.

2. Because of that, one can safely assume that the government and the media lie about everything.

3. Therefore, I don't have to apply reason or common sense to any theory I hear. Just on the basis of the fact that the government and media deny it means it must be true.

The problem in the logic is obvious.
