I pushed this over a month ago, but to replace CJ. And CJ has been fantastic this year, no question. But we need a true PG, and CJ and Murray will not work as a back court pairing.

I hate to break it to you, but Murray is not a true PG either. Leans more PG than CJ, but he isn’t a Chris paul or Steve Nash style distributor.

He averaged 9.5 assists per 36 his last year as a PG. Weird now as a secondary creator and finisher on the Hawks. He’s more like 5-6. Chris Paul and Steve Nash are two of the greatest Pg’s of all time. I’m not holding him to that standard. I do think Murray can control the ball and run the offense, and has shown to be pretty clutch. He definitely leans more towards the f you attitude that this team doesn’t have. He would be the best PG we’ve had in a good while.

How many of those are there left in the NBA today?
