in his defense, I'd say this was his first go with some solid weapons at his disposal. The game plan in general for the ravens wasn't good.

regardless, the OP thinking they should trade an MVP caliber QB is retarded.

I understand the logic behind not wanting to move on from an MVP caliber QB. However, if you look at how he has played in the regular season as opposed to the playoffs, it's like he is the Monstars after getting the powers in the regular season and then the Monstars before getting the powers in the playoffs. Maybe that changes at some point and he wins a Super Bowl. All I am saying is what we saw yesterday is eerily similar to what we have seen from him throughout the playoffs. Teams seem to figure him out in the playoffs or he is playing against a much better opponent and looks just like he did yesterday. As an organization, which is what I was presenting in my OP, I don't think it is crazy to consider moving on from him. I get that Manning changed course and started winning more in the playoffs and eventually won a Super Bowl. However, I think he is the exception and not the rule when it comes to QB's. Again, I get that this may sound crazy or controversial. All I was saying is that at what point do you decide to go in a different direction? At what point does his subpar playoff performance cause his regular season performance to be overshadowed? As others have mentioned, due to his contract, you may HAVE to stay with him for at least 2 more years.
