I think they're shite compared to their gas powered counterparts.

Why? What benefit does a gas powered weedeater have over a battery powered weedeater when trimming around a acre lot?

Having to get a gas can filled at the gas station every few weeks? and buying the little oil to add to the gas?
Gas engine breaking down/wearing out?
Water getting in the gas/old gas?
Buying air filters every year?

Which benefit do you like the most? Those are some good ones.

They should be up cooking breakfast or something.

Smeg probably tried a cheap 20v trimmer/blower, rightfully concluded that they suck, but wrongfully concluded that his experience applies to 60v tools.

The power. In my experience the electric tools have been limp twisted, like yourself.
