I think you and I are agreeing. It shouldn't be off limits, but my issue is people becoming argumentative when questioning the viability of solar and EVs, especially when so much of these are very young, tech wise.

They are not currently viable.
There's only the matter of "how much money do we continue to throw at this until we determine if it can be viable or not".
