A lot of this has to do with how hard is to navigate life being an extremely attractive female. In high school, especially, girls hate them and are intimidated. They don't want the crazy pretty girl in their pics because it makes them look ugly or they're worried about their boyfriends comparing them.

The only guys who have the guts to talk to them are the super alpha/confident ones, and at that age, that doesn't always correlate with being nice.

So, these girls grow up with weird female friendships and not so great male relationships. Most girls just want a nice guy with his life together. It's why Pete Davidson is so popular. He's quirky, yes, but very funny and confident.
