There’s a big difference in what he is doing and playing smart basketball. He does not rotate defensively and holds the ball too long running the offense, which leads to poor decisions like taking really bad shots. Why do you think he sits on the bench for long stretches in a game? He lacks the discipline and leadership skills needed at PG, and he is not a good defender. Bama’s PG made him look bad several times taking him off the dribble all the way to the cup for scores.

if you want to see what Cook should be, look at Sears for bama. Dude plays his arse off.
Cook coasts to much.

And again, what would their record be without him? At best, they would have 1 SEC win. With the current roster, you have to take the good with the bad.
