OP is a bit of a contrarian (not meant as a pejorative) so I am not 100% sure his post is sincere...
However, for those that don't like or can't get into The Wire, of course not everyone sees something the same. That's not a shade - although it may get to a point that if you dislike every show MTV recommends, it's more on you.
