Because the people will die very quickly and it will provide very clear evidence of how foolish that approach is. I think this "tell fat people it's great to be fat" and "if you think you're a woman cut your dick off" trend is new enough that we haven't started to see the negative impacts. Or, rather we have, just not en masse.

And when a trans person offs themselves it will never be because the parents screwed up and mutilated the kid and their "doctors" furthered it, it'll be because people like us never accepted them. Always someone else's fault.
