Exactly this. If you are coaching pro football, you want coach in the major league instead of the minors. NCAA has become the minor league.

That's all it is.
No longer special.
Players paid, hopping around from farm system to farm system. Yet NCAA still trying to enforce rules from a bygone era. I mean they went after Harbaugh for buying a recruit a hamburger. What a clown world CFB has become. Like trying to fight WWI with Civil War strategy.
