DeSantis has won two statewide elections in Florida. That makes no sense.

This is the same argument you propose in favor of open primaries. If Trump doesnt endorse Desantis, he doesnt make it on either one of those statewide ballots. Adam Putnam had a nice lead over Desantis prior to the endorsement

You cant claim to know what will happen in the general, until the primary has been settled. Closed primaries are far better for conservative candidates. Less shenanigans
