re: Greg Abbott releases statement on Texas’ constitutional right to self-defense

While I don't disagree with the sentiment that this should not be happening, but Congress writes the laws, Executive branch enforces. Not sure exactly how Congress compels the Executive, especially without a super majority of the other party to have some sort of leverage for "negotiation"
