I don’t mind continually kicking the can down the road. It’s a bill that will never come due. Cap will always go up, NFL will always have another year in the future where it generates billions of dollars (unless the league were to ever fold where it then still wouldn’t matter anyway). It’s silly to NOT use the cap this way.

HOWEVER, to be $32million dollars over even the 31st worst off team and have this terrible of a roster is a disgrace. Kick the can down the road by overpaying elite talent to come here. Instead we’re tied up with MT13 who is horrible, Carr

, aging defensive has-beens and DA coaching them all. Our roster is garbage so to be $81m over the cap with a shitty roster is a really bad look

How so? It's similar to the national debt in that the cap overage is like an interest due payment and it's currently 1/3 of the cap allotment. It will soon be 1/2 the cap allotment if everything remains the same going forward.

The big issue I have is that the org was mortgaging the future while they had the nucleus of a SB challenging team. They are not close to that now and they are still following the same script.
