I bought a dozen mixed donuts Friday, next door to the vet where I dropped off my pet for shots.
With tax, over $15.00 for that one dozen. I had no idea they had gotten that expensive.
I imagine donut shops are making a shitload of money charging those prices.
Guy in front of me paid over $40 for whatever he had just purchased.

Huh. That's interesting. I can't even remember the last time I bought a donut, much less a dozen of them. I never even really think about getting a donut. I ran across a donut shop today on a job I was doing. It was afternoon and their case was full. I wondered what they do with all of them at the end of the day. They must throw out a bunch of them each day. Or maybe they sell them to a gas station or something.
