Bringing my boys to their first concert this April at Red Rocks. We visited years ago on a trip through Denver, but not for a concert. Just went to see the venue since it is opened as a park and we were nearby.

How bad is concert parking? Reading online is confusing for sure. I don't mind arriving as early as necessary. Is it foolish to think I'll be able to get a spot? The shuttles I just looked at were $55/head. I'd like to avoid an unnecessary $220 for transportation.

There is tons of parking out there but go a little early and park in the north lot. Much shorter walk to the venue. But I would probably suggest Uber. They can drop you off at the very top and its super organized and runs very smoothly after the show.

it’s a double edged sword
if you park in the north lot you don’t have to climb to get in, but you’ll have to climb to get out

Vice versa if you park in the south lot. The advantage to the shuttle is they will drop you at the top and pick you up at the bottom

Go in the first entrance and cruise up to where the road splits to the top. Park on the shoulder heading downhill. Just a quick walk to the first set of stairs to the bottom level of the amphitheater.
