Would be impossible to stay under the tax, cannot sign two players with 1.6 million

Does the full contract count towards the cap?
I know if the minimum is say $1.6M, but they sign mid year they are only getting paid half of that. Does the full $1.6 still go towards the cap?

I don't know if this is right or not, but on Spotrac you can manage a roster via trades and signings and see how it affects the cap/tax.
If you do the Richards for Zeller/EJ trade, and then sign JRE from the two way, it doesn't count JRE's contract to the cap.

Two way players that get converted midseason only count as much as the prorated amount is per game left (I think cap number is 26k per game or so)

If you sign veteran minimum players though their entire yearly number counts against the cap/tax.
So technically if we convert Ryan AND JRE we could make it work, just would have to do it a little bit further into the season as they would both have about a million dollar cap hit each if we were to convert them right now.
