Zeller/EJ/lottery protected 1st for Richards/Cha '25 & 28 2nds and give us back our '27 2nd they own. that leaves us $1.6M to sign Matt Ryan and somoene else to get to 14.
Would be impossible to stay under the tax, cannot sign two players with 1.6 million

Does the full contract count towards the cap?
I know if the minimum is say $1.6M, but they sign mid year they are only getting paid half of that. Does the full $1.6 still go towards the cap?
I don't know if this is right or not, but on Spotrac you can manage a roster via trades and signings and see how it affects the cap/tax.
If you do the Richards for Zeller/EJ trade, and then sign JRE from the two way, it doesn't count JRE's contract to the cap.
