How to trap a cat to get it to the SPCA

Recently bought a house, but the old homeowners use to feed 3 cats daily. With the local neighborhood trapper we were able to catch 2 of the 3 but we are unable to trap the last one. We tried moving the traps all over the outside of the house, but nothing has worked. I’m allergic to cats so I can’t do much. Any suggestions on trying to get the last cat?

There has to be some kind of treat it can't resist.
Best thing would be to use that treat to lure it into a small bathroom.

Start putting food down the road. He will vacate your premise

Well we don’t want the cat to come inside the house. My dad is still recovering from his below knee leg amputation. Right now the cat is blocking our front door most of the day.

Open a can of tuna fish and put it in the trap. Sardines will work if you don't have tuna.

Tried that and it will leave for a couple of hours but then end up coming back to our front door.

Maybe make friends with a neighbor who's willing to become the new food source?

Call the local Chinese restaurant, they'll come get it.

Put food in the trap but dont engage it. Get him used to going into the trap. Do this for a few days then hold off the food for 1 day. Put the food back in and engage the trap
Once in the trap, immediately cover with a blanket

This one is easy. Grab a trap at harbor freight. They also sell them at academy.

The local trapper for English turn put 3 of these around the house with cat food and we were able to catch 2 of the cats but we just can’t catch this one.
