This from his press conference today and I think he is handling business the right way.

"Our staff is on the road right now and doing everything they can to recruit a great class," Miles said. "Then, they will return to prepare a game plan for Georgia Tech. I'll look at and evaluate (staff) beyond the bowl game very quickly.

"All our focus is to prepare the team for the bowl game. There will be no staff changes before the bowl game. The time to evaluate is after you are done playing."

suttle decision, but uncharacteristic for Miles. He's playing it safe.

I'm behind Miles with whenever he decides to make changes, as long as he makes them. I do think they should have happened before the bowl game though.

At least it's news.

yea our class is hella good, it won't hurt to protect it with the current staff. recruits are more likely to leave if staff changes are made than if a team loses a bowl game (not that I'm conceding it...just comparing two situations)

OH well I said I would not go to the bowl game unless he made a change. I love my tigers but no bowl game for me.

I'd like the ghost of christmas present to take me to a defensive recruits living room while Miles is talking to he and his family. I'd like to listen to what he's telling them about the coaching situation for next year.

This is just coach speak for "I will give them one last chance to save their jobs and if they get it right in the bowl game I will not replace them"

What happened to the Vegas line after this announcement? Double down on GA Tech.

It's smart for Miles to avoid changing coaches until absolutely necessary. If he gets through this period without having to change, and we come back strong next year, everything is fine. However, if we suck, he can pull that out as the solution at the end of next season. It gets him an additional year of salary before the wolves are at his door.

Tiger Nation won't miss you. The War Wagon gets better MPG without all of the fair weather dead weight.

He's got my support... not that he needs it.

If now isn't when it's "absolutely necessary", then when will it be. Pray tell.

Yay! Don't need fans like you anyway. Pick up your Tonka trucks and run crying to momma because you didn't get your way.
