$665,000 seems low for a surgeon? What ‘specialty’ would he do that low at 50? Aren’t most specialized surgeons in the $1 mil plus range?

It’s very easy to spend money when you are wealthy.

That $150 meal is now $400 with a nice bottle of wine and extra app.

Probably multiple memberships like ridiculous gym and country club.

High end car leases, could be $5-10k/ month.

As said, multiple nice vacations.

They are idiots, 60 mins on a budgeting app and they could easily find $100k a year most likely.

Eh. Probably above average for most specialities not ortho/nsgy spine, cardiothoracic. I think people overestimate what "surgeons" make.

Of course those that have a bunch of ancillary services(imaging centers, surgery centers, real estate/med offices etc) bring in a higher annual income vs those who just paid on productivity/services they provide.
