Update: we’re going to leave the US on Monday 5/13 and arrive in Rome on the morning of 5/14. We have 3 nights to kill until we have to be back in Rome on the evening of 5/17.
How difficult would it be to get from ROM to Positano or Amalfi? Travel there on Tuesday (we arrive at ROM at 8:25 AM) and then spend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights there (wherever there may be).
If that’s too much of a chore, we’re not tied to doing that. Tuscany could/would also be an option.
