Looking for suggestions on any loggers near the McComb area to clear cut a small tract (20 acres or so). Any recommendations?

No Colors is a well known timber "baron" in MS. He'll see this and point you in the direction of someone honest if he can.

Warren Adams ,Ryan Cowart, or Benny Thornton . All are in Smithdale. Pretty sure I’m your next door neighbor. If I remember right we figured that out here. I own the field just passed you on Wroten with the oaks planted . Whenever ready I’ll post my email.
I have a dozer and excavator if you need any cleaning up afterwards.

Going to be tough to find someone to cut 20 acres. I had 40 in Amite County and waited a year and half to get the pine thinned. Your best bet is see if any other landowners near you need any cut. Loggers really don’t want to mess with small tracts. The cost of moving equipment and the price of timber is prohibitive.

Depends if it's hardwood or pine. If Pine call Greentree in Liberty. If hardwood call Jones in Gloster

20 will be tough.

I thinned a 60 acre tract last summer and couldn’t find anyone to do it. Finally got a lucky and an older gentleman, working by himself came in and did it. I gave him the wood in exchange for the work.
