Last round of reform work by lawmakers, lowered the jury threshold to $5000. It’s done nothing but slow down the court system for everyone in favor of special interests. Well, that’s really not true. It’s increased the cost of seeking legal redress for every single voter and business in this state for the perceived benefit of a few special interest. It sure as hell hasn’t lowered auto insurance premiums one damn bit.

The citizens of Louisiana were told a bald face lie that was known to be a lie when it was being pushed. Disgraceful.
