hen of the wood last night was a top 5 meal and the only one in recent memory where the dessert course (lemon ricotta cheesecake and a sheep’s milk cheese course) was the star of the show. Drinks at pro-pig beforehand

Today we hiked up to a waterfall thru the snow right outside of Stowe, then spent all day at the von trapp farm. The girls saw and petted all the farm animals, we hiked to thru the sugar maples and watched the syrup being made, then got beers and snacks at the brew house which is likely the nicest, and best, brewery I’ve ever visited. The beers are world class

Tomorrow we are going dog sledding up on the mountain, and then working our way south towards Woodstock. The weather has been postcard perfect (it changes tomorrow)
