It tells me that loyalty to your school and program is at an all time low. But we knew that.

The best way to counteract that is to focus more on instate recruits. It doesn't eliminate the problem, but it mitigates it.

Loyalty for the most part was always manufactured by the rules. Kids weren't going to transfer if they had to sit out. Kids would have done the same thing 5 years ago if they could have.

It's a sign of the times really. This generation likes to keep their options open and they live for today only, even to their own detriment. That's why they arent getting maried and opt for pets instead of children. Hell, I hire people and see their updated resume on indeed the same week! A bird in the hand I guess

Loyalty to a school is a nearly dead concept. It might, just might, still be around for some 3 and 2 stars, but for the 4 and 5 stars, it's money only.
All that remains are the old fart alumni and a few idealistic youngsters. Even those are falling away fast.

Are the kids leaving from Alabama?

It's a refection of society. How many people stay at the same job for a long time now? I see young people jumping from job to job all the time
