Adam & Eve were already in Paradise. They forfeited their Earthly life as were, then were condemned to a Death Penalty. (The "first Death" as per Scripture.)

Alright. I really think lying to Adam and Eve is the very best example of God’s lies, but here are other examples:

1 Kings 22:23
