Do yourself a favor and save some money by getting Moissanite. No one will know the difference. I think I paid $3500 for my wife’s ring bc the setting had small diamonds but the center stone is 1.5 carats (~$600 if I recall). Women afterwards were blown away and were like jeez how much did you spend?? I gladly told each of them it wasn’t a diamond and they were all shocked. So don’t let the hype and tradition get the best of you. Your wallet will thank you and your wife won’t care about the ring much later on. And if she overvalues that sort of thing then you’re already in trouble
