um, we can now lose the 2 biggest games on our schedule and still get in.

that’s a HUGE swing in margin of error.

if you walk out of the stadium after a loss thinking “no big deal, we’re still in” in stead of “if everything falls right we could get in” , then you have literally just removed the value of the regular season.
