You are surrounded by crime and poverty basically everywhere you go in the south. It is not as nice as the places I mentioned (it isn’t a suburb) but I think it’s a fine place

That’s my thing. It’s not a suburb of a crime ridden city. It’s a standalone city in the northeast corner of the state that has this demographic makeup.



Southhaven and all that seem fine but it’s just too close to Memphis and a slice of blue for me. Who knows what it’ll look like 10 years from now with all the migration. Tupelo is sort of close but still far enough to stay decent.

You don’t seem to grasp what I’m saying. Go to places like Yazoo City, Macon, Natchez. You are IMMEDIATELY surrounded by poverty. There is no money. I was in Natchez yesterday morning for work and I tried to go get breakfast downtown. Only one place serves breakfast there now (Natchez Coffee Company on Franklin, really good btw).
