Cooper was 2009-2011. PP7 was awesome but one player doesn't make a school DBU. The prolific periods was undeniably under Raymond (2012-2021)
Anyone drafted in 2012 didn't play for LSU in 2012. Raymond's first year.
Tyrann was kicked off the team so he didn't play in '12 either.
YOu also forgot:
LaRon Landry Rd1 P6 (STARTED DBU)
Travis Daniels
Chad Jones (injured after draft)
After LaRon, LSU went on a 8 year run of DBs being drafted. And LSU only missed 1 year in 17 with no DBs being taken in the draft.

Corey Webster would like a word with you lol.
Seriously, I get where you're going with the run on draft picks and all, but I'll go with CWeb here if we're going with the "starter" of DBU from a player perspective. 2 time All American, and 2nd round draft pick.
If anything, I think of CWeb and Laron starting it together to an extent. All America types who were also high round draft picks. T Daniels, Chevis and Steltz are in that mix, and then things took off around the time PatPete came. CFB is still mostly a Jimmies and Joes game, and LSU's recruiting was really rolling by that point.
